Mwangaza Visionary School is located at Mwangaza area of Matuga Division in Kwale County. The school was started as an outreach to the local community by the Mombasa Pentecostal Church 1998.
After successfully equipping the adults with basic writing and reading skills, it was felt that a more lasting impact would be achieved through laying a firm foundation through the children. A nursery class was thus started. Since then, the school has grown progressively and today has fully fledged primary school from Kindergarten to std 8.
Our pioneer class sat for their KCPE in the year 2007. In the subsequent year, 2008, we managed to take 3 of our candidates to National Schools, namely, Alliance High School, Starehe Boys Centre and Loreto Girls Limuru.
With this kind of an outcome, we believe Mwangaza Visionary School has potential to develop future leaders whose character is shaped by fear of God, influenced by Godliness, guided through integrity resulting from a commitment to excellence.
